A glimpse of Mahabir, in Mahabir Pun (National Icon)

City is all ready for the SAARC summit. Kathmandu city has rejuvenated with new look, molded with newer freshness. NHRC if would had conducted the air pollution  study in this time, definitely the findings would have different result. It's so clean. The way between Baneshwor to Maitighar is mind-blowing, green lines guarding the black-topped road, flower blossoming on either side. It's really eye-catching. 

However on the flip side, today commuters have to suffer a lot. Not just people but also the entire nation, without any doubt nation, would suffer a lot with huge economic loss. Government has already announced public holidays during the SAARC summit period, 26th and 27th November, considering the security issues of high dignitaries arriving for the summit. However the government announced public holidays has already started from  today. The way government has planned to conduct SAARC summit, it's of great shame. It clearly shows lact of trust over the capability of it's security bodies. Government has already urged to run the vehicles with odd and even numbers each in consequent days. Conducting SAARC summit with all these troubles to common people would not make any sense despite conducting SAARC summit with huge success. The beneficiaries of SAARC summit is all the people of SAARC nations including Nepalese people. However we are suffering greatly in the name of SAARC summit. My brother has his own motorbike, so I traveled quite easily. However I saw so many people having difficulties in traveling due to lack of public vehicles after government today allowed only those vehicles with even numbers. 

Usually I return back home in public transportation. However it was impossible to get vehicles to return back home. So I called my brother to return back together to room. But he returns back home quite late. He usually sets off from his office around 0630 PM. So I went to Newroad to buys The Big Bang Theory Series 2. It's my best TV series. I love the acting by leanord, Sheldon, Raj and penny. I always wish to see tie up between penny and leanord. Leanord can never express his feeling clearly to penny, they are great physicians but so weak in the love-life, However that's its beauty.

I always buy CDs from Amit dai, a CD-salesman in Newroad. He is preety shy man by nature. He is from Birjung and I am from Rautahat, a nearby place. So I usually visit him, have some off-beat talks, buy some CDs with lot of bargaining.So I returned back to Ratnapark to catch my brother. It was around 0600PM when I reach Ratnapark. So I waited my brother sitting in the railing in front of Jammae Mosque. I nearly waited there for more than 30 minutes. Behungum, a friend of mine, called me. Thanks I was in the epitome of boring-waiting standing infront of Computer point Nepal's gate, a side of Jammae Mosque.

I was on phone talking to my friend. Suddenly My eyes got struck to a man with Mongolian face, wearing track-suits, mobile in the left hand, walking with a slipper and a bag in the back. I was surprised to a Mahabir, in the real sense, a great person. He was no other than the national Icon, the winner of the prestigious Magsaysay Award, often regarded as Nobel prize of Asia. A person with international height with simple attire. I was on phone, though couldn't talk to him, but cordially greet with him a gentle smile, the only thing that I can. I was shocked seeing this great personality with the simple life walking across the Ratnapark. The man of such qualification and the talent, desiring the worldly pleasure in not the dream for them, it's just  the wish that can come easily into the reality. I found the man with bright face, has gave up all those worldly pleasures and was busy effectively utilizing his talents for the sake of nation's development and community welfare. 

You really amazed me The Great Mahabir Pun. I was more than happy seeing you walking infront of me. You made my day. I just wish I weren't in the phone. But thanks you changed my thought, and meaning of life.

Rate difference Vs. Logistic Regression Analysis

When you have N (Total Numbers) and % (Percentage), Rate difference is simply the difference between maximum and minimum percentage value.

Meanwhile, Rate ratio is the maximum percentage value divided by minimum percentage value.

In the Statistical Analysis,
Once you have already conducted logistic Regression Analysis, it's not necessary to further derive Rate difference. As findings of Rate difference and Logistic Regression Analysis give the result with the same notion.

So it is not preferred to both things in statistical analysis.

Once the SELECT CASES box Opens

Then Click on IF CONDITION IS SATISFIED

Click on ANALYSE button on the tool bar.Go to COMPLEX SAMPLES and thereafter to LOGISTIC REGRESSION.

Then Click on ODDS RATIO tab.

In the Complex Samples Logistic Regression box, the Variables that you have selected for FACTORS box, will then arrive in COMPLEX SAMPLES LOGISTIC REGRESSION: ODDS RATIO's FACTORS box  

फोटोग्राफि भित्रको संवाद

सोख त पक्कै नि मानिस बिच फरक हुनु प्राकृतिक नै हो। फोटोग्राफि भन्दा नि फोटो खिच्ने मेरो सोख हो। त्यो भित्र पनि सुखद क्षण कैद गर्ने मन हो।  चाहाना हो। सोख र चाहाना बिचको तात्विक भिन्नता थाहा नभएनि मलाई फोटो खिच्न सारै मन लाग्छ।  सायद त्यहि भएर नि हुन सक्छ मलाई DSLR 1100D किन्न रु ४३००० खर्च गर्न न त दुई चोटि सोच्नु नै पर्यो न त कुनै दुबिधा नै खडा भयो।

माथिको फोटो भख्खर रै एक बर्ष (१) पार गरेको पाल्तेन नाम गरेको सानो बाबुको हो।  कति well-nourished, कति hero सारै राम्रो। नगरकोट धुम्न जादा खिचेको। थाकेर लखतरान जिउ,  १-१ घण्टामा चल्ने गाडिको queue, तब सिट च्यापेर बस्नुको कुनै बिकल्प थिएन।   सगैको सिटमा आमाको काखमा बाल्यकालको बेफिकर मोज उठाउदै बालक अनि सगै क्यामरा भिरेर बसेको म। भन्नै पर्दा मलाई साना केटा-केटि सारै नै मन पर्छ, they are the pure soul, ते तेकि  हैन ABJ Abdul Kalam ले सानो बच्चाबाट सपथ लिएको। जब जब साना केटा-केटि भेटाऊछु, गुडिया जसरि खेलाऊछु तब त साना केटा-केटिले मलाई रुचाउदैनन पनि। मज्जा लाग्छ। सु-सु गर्लान कि भन्ने कुरामा सधै चनाखो हुन्छु, कहिले काहि भोगियो भने भाग्यमानि संमझन्छु।  यस्तै भयो पाल्तेनसंग पनि। हाम्रै शब्दमा बच्चा सारै नै घोर्ले थियो। सगै बसेको साथिलाई भनि हाले," हेरे त भोलिको DON". बिशुद्ध मज्जा गर्ने हिसाबले भनेको, मैले भनेको पुग्ने भए त साथिलाई," हेरे त भोलिको Einstein भन्थे हु'ला।

कसैको मामा, कसैको काका भइसकेको म, यस्तो पोसिलो बच्चा गुरुङ, मगर बाहेकको देखेको छैन पनि। धेरै बर्ष अगाडिको रसुवा फिल्डमा भेटेको थिए यस्तै बच्चाहरु। तत् पश्चात नगरकोटवाट फर्केने बसमा। तब ब्यागवाट झिके क्यामरा। बहुत अजिबको बच्चा, एक जिब्रो पड्काकेको के थिए, हेर्न थालि हाल्यो म तिर। सानो वच्चा सबैका दिमाख भरिने क्रममै हुन्छन, त्यसैले त सारै चनाखो हुन्छन, सारै बाठो पनि। continuous shoot मा राखेको थिए camera, सुरु भो Click Click and Click। बच्चाको आमा, छोरा एक टकले म तिर हेर्न थाले पछि, हेरिन म तिर पनि। मुसुक्क हासिन। तब आमाबाट नि approval letter आए पछि  मज्जाले फोटो खिचे।

कोठा आएर सोचे फोटो धुलाएर दिन पा'को भए साच्चै बच्चाको परिवार, बिशेषत बच्चाको आमा सारै खुसि हुन्थिन होला। सायद अहिले पनि लाग्छ," दिदि, ई तपाईको छोरोको फोटो लिनुस।" भनेर पछि कुनै दिन दिन पाएको भए, मज्जा दोब्बर  हुन्थ्यो होला।

Dr. Govinda KC र मेरो बुझाई

एक बर्ष र छ महिना हुन हुन लाग्दैछ। IOM छिरेर निक्लने समय भई नै सकेको छ। जुन समस्या म IOM छिर्दा थियो संयोग नै भन्नु पर्छ, त्यहि समस्या त्यसै गरि नि बल्झियो, पात्र तिनै हुन, समय फरक छ , निचोड एउटै छ। डिन फरक छन् तर IOM का लागि लड्ने लोह पुरुष तिनै हुन्। प्रा. डा. गोबिन्द के.सी. ।

तिनि मानव त हुन् तर साधारण पक्कै हैनन्। साधारण व्यक्ति भन्दा फरक। जो "म" "मेरो" भन्ने शब्दबाट बिल्कूलै अनबिग्य छन्। जसमा कुनै मोह छैन, पद लुलुप्सा छैन, जसमा साधारण जिवन शैलि, सामान्य खानपिन, सहयोगि  भावना छ त्यो भन्दा नि ठुलो समाज सेवाको भोक छ ।  म यहा  Martin Luther King, Jr को एउटा भनाई सम्झन्छु Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?' र म डा.गोबिन्द के.सी. को जिवनबाट यसको उत्तर सिवाय केहि पनि पाउदिन, केहि देख्दिन पनि। IOM को प्राध्यापक डाक्टर, जसमा बिलासिताको चाहाना हुनु मात्र पर्छ, यथार्थमा परिवर्तन गर्न त्यति गारो छैन। समाज सेवामा डुबेका डा. के. सी. मा यस्ता सोचाई कहा नै आऊछन् होला र । तव त ति सबका प्यारा छन्, सबका भगवान भएका छन्।

यदि SAI BABA (हाम्रो भगवान) ले घैटोवाट फुरफुरि बिगुत ननिकाल्ने हो, हातबाट सुनका सिक्रि नझार्ने हो, जसको कमल स्पर्सबाट चिताएका कुरा नपुग्ने हो भने,  म SAI BABA र डा. के. सी. मा कुनै फरक देख्दिन। साई बाबाले जसरि जिबन भर भक्तले चडाएका भेटि दिन-दूखि माझ नै बाडे, डा. के. सी. पनि त त्यस्तै गर्दैछन्। आफुले कमाएकै पैसाबाट चाहे त्यो जाजरकोट झाडा-पखाला पिडित होस, पाकिस्तान वा हाईटिको भुकम्पको पिडित  होस्, तिनका जिबन रक्षाका लागि तल्लिन नै हुनु भयो, हाम्रो भगवान SAI BABA ले पनि त गर्नु त त्यहि नै भएको हो नि, हैन र? महा मानव त दुबै हुन फरक यति हो बाबा सँग SUPERNATURAL POWER थियो, डा. के. सी. सँग SPIRITUAL मन छ। 

तर म गान्धि भन्दा माथि नै पाउछु हाम्रा डा. के. सि लाई। सायद ब्रिटिसले SOUTH AFRICA को रेल वाट नधकेलोको भए,  गान्धिमा त्यो विवेक र त्यो अठोट आउनेमा मलाई चाहि शंकै छ। तर डा. के. सी.को यो अनसन कुनै स्वार्थ बिना नै, स्वस्फुर्त रुपमा, केवल IOM को भविष्य र सम्पुर्ण नेपालिको स्वास्थ्यका लागि मात्र थियो,  छ पनि र हो पनि, यसमा म बिश्वस्त छु। एउटा MOTIVATIONAL BOOK मा पढेको थिए मैले, Happiness, Success in every aspects, in every sectors come from "QQS", Quality, Quantity and Service. Until and unless, QQS are not prioritized equally, you would never achieve your goal. Then Happiness and Success comes in limbo.  यहि नै होईन र डा. के. सी. को चाहाना? यहि नै होईन र डा. के. सि. को अनसनको निष्कर्ष?

बिशुद्ध र निश्वार्थ भावना, त्याग केबल जनताका लागि, चाहाना केवन स्वास्थ्य-समृद्ध नेपालका लागि  आमरण अनसन बसेका हाम्रा गुरु प्रा. डा. के. सि. को जिवन रक्षाका लागि आफ्नो आफ्नो क्षेत्रवाट सकेसम्मको पहल गरौ। कामना गरौ।
